Terms of Service
Last updated: [date]
1. Who we are
SteadySite (“the Service”) is operated by [Full legal name], an individual registered as a sole trader (osek) in Israel, business no. [_____], [postal address] (“we”, “us”). Contact: [support@steadysite.dev — set up once the domain is registered].
2. The Service
The Service checks the availability of websites and endpoints you configure, checks SSL certificate and domain expiry dates, sends alerts, and provides status pages and reports. Monitoring is best-effort: checks can be delayed, missed or wrong (for example due to network issues or third-party data sources such as RDAP/WHOIS and certificate-transparency logs). The Service is a notification aid and not a guarantee that you will be alerted to every problem.
3. Accounts
You sign in with a link sent to your email address and are responsible for keeping access to that mailbox secure. You must provide accurate information and be legally able to enter into this agreement.
4. Acceptable use
Only monitor websites and endpoints you own or are authorised to monitor. Do not use the Service to load-test, attack, scrape or overload any system, to probe systems without permission, or for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend monitors or accounts that violate these terms or put the Service at risk.
5. Plans, payment and cancellation
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our reseller / merchant of record ([Lemon Squeezy / Paddle]), which processes payment, issues invoices and handles applicable taxes under its own terms. You can cancel at any time; access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds: [refund policy — e.g. none for partial periods, except where required by law]. We may change prices with at least [30] days’ notice; changes apply from your next billing period.
6. Free plan
The free plan may be changed or limited at any time. Commercial use of the free plan is permitted.
7. Your content
You keep all rights to the data you add (URLs, names, branding). You grant us the permissions needed to operate the Service, including displaying your status page publicly if you enable it.
8. Availability and changes
We aim for high availability but do not promise uninterrupted service. We may modify or discontinue features; if we discontinue the Service we will try to give [30] days’ notice.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
[To be drafted/reviewed by counsel: “as is” disclaimer and a liability cap, e.g. limited to the fees you paid in the previous [12] months, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Statutory consumer rights are not affected.]
10. Termination
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may terminate accounts for material breach of these terms.
11. Governing law
[Governing law and jurisdiction — to be confirmed by counsel, e.g. the laws of the State of Israel and the competent courts of [city], subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules in the user’s country.]
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and will notify you of material changes by email or in the app.
